Brad Jayakody, 30 is not a happy man. He was moderately happy when he turned up at Heathrow to board a plane to Dusseldorf, Germany, with four work colleagues.
That was until officials stopped him saying “you cannot get on the plane because there is a gun on your T-shirt.” His top showed the Transformers film character Optimus Prime holding a gun.
Mr Jayakody, was then threatened with arrest after he asked to see the security chief. (presumably so he could take over the security at the airport in preparation for his attack).

"I'm going to kill you all"
Jayakody said: “It’s a cartoon robot with a gun as an arm. What was I going to do, use the shirt to pretend I have a gun?
“I was flabbergasted. I thought the supervisor would come over and see sense, but he didn’t. After I changed he said if I changed back I would be arrested.”
A spokesman for Heathrow operator BAA said: ” durrr, where are my Smarties?”
In 2006 a human rights activist was prevented from boarding a plane in New York, for while wearing a T-shirt that read, “We will not be silent,” in English and Arabic.
If the the other passengers are as stupid as the staff then they may be worried about the gun on the t shirt. So BAA is assuming it’s customers are as stupid as its staff!
How comes this stupids are roaming with Gun T-Shirts? not nice…
Excellent… funny post…

We (airport staff) are not all stupid, we get pissed off with searches to get into work. The terrorists definitely won. Chaos and confusion reign.
My friend is smoking cigarets and she always fly’s with the lighter in her bag. No one ever stopped her on Heathrow or any other airport. With the lighter you could do more harm than with printed gun on the t-shirt;)
